Abstract:

The current research aims to identify the role of kindergartens in developing emotional intelligence of a pre-school child, and the research sample consisted of (100) children, with (50) males and (50) females from each kindergarten, and thus they were divided into (6) kindergartens from the third Karkh Education Directorate For the academic year 2019/2020, the emotional intelligence scale prepared by (Al-Rashidi, 2018) for the Iraqi environment was relied upon, which includes (34) items, and for analyzing the results, the Pearson Correlation Coefficient, the stability extraction by the retest method, and the t-test for one sample test is an indication The differences between the average of the responses of the respondents and the theoretical average of the emotional intelligence scale, and it came to the conclusion: Children of Riyadh obtained a high score in the emotional intelligence scale, as the results indicated that the arithmetic mean is higher than the hypothetical average.
