Abstract:
The mathematics curriculum is one of the important curriculum in the study over its stages from primary to intermediate to middle school, the study aimed to clarify the importance of the Saxon curriculum for mathematics and to clarify the extent of its ease in conveying mathematical ideas and facts to the mind of the student easily and easily, and the study also aimed to show the extent to which the student benefited from The curriculum is in the case of home study and with the help of parents and teachers, as it is a smooth curriculum and provides information to the student in an ascending manner and based on what the student has previously learned of mathematical information. The research, then, is trying to find solutions to the problem of the difficulty of the mathematics curriculum in middle school and the problem of the possibility of teaching this curriculum with the least possible help from teachers, as it is possible for the student to learn individually with the help of parents, especially during periods of closure and roaming and other measures accompanying cases of the spread of the Corona epidemic in the country and the escalation cases. The study worked on reviewing the most important principles on which the Saxon Mathematics curriculum was based, its most important centers of strength, and the reasons for its demand in the United States in particular. from him . The study also reviewed some applied examples in the Saxon Mathematics Curriculum and how to review the concept and ask examples and questions in the study. It is not a needless intellectual luxury. At the end of the study, the study reached the possibility of applying the Saxon Mathematics curriculum in middle school in Iraq for several reasons, including the ease of the curriculum and its reliance on the student’s previous educational experiences, meaning that it builds on the previous concepts studied by the student so that there is no intellectual break in the student and he feels that this topic Very new and difficult, in this way the student knows that knowledge in mathematics is cumulative knowledge, and one of the reasons for applying the Saxon Mathematics Curriculum is the Corona pandemic and the spread of the (covid19) epidemic, which makes it difficult to study in attendance and therefore the student will study a lot of the curriculum individually at home and is considered the Saxon curriculum Mathematics is very suitable for studying at home by the students themselves with the help of parents and teachers.
