Abstract:

The current research aims to identify the nature of psychological problems (panic disorder) that resulted from the pandemic of the emerging corona virus 19, and the study sample consisted of (40) students from Iraqi private universities, and to reach the results of the research, a measure of psychological problems was used among university students and the researcher relied on Descriptive analytical approach The results concluded that panic disorder was one of the most common mental health problems that students currently suffer from, and the researcher also found a statistically significant difference in mental health problems based on gender and chronological age, among other things, and there is no difference with Statistical significance based on environmental variables and to search for a number of recommendations.

Panic disorder is one of the most commonly reported disorders in psychiatry, and it causes a heavy medical, social, and economic burden. Recently, there has been a growing interest in the biological basis of panic disorder, which is reflected in the growing number of articles on the topic. Due to the ambiguity of diagnosis and the large number of underdiagnosed patients, researchers are searching for laboratory tests that can facilitate the diagnosis of panic disorder. In clinical practice and allowing early implementation of appropriate treatment, these potential biomarkers may also be useful in monitoring the efficacy of drug therapy for anxiety disorders.
