Abstract:

The Iraqi legislator has organized special guarantees for a large group of workers in litigation procedures, and among these guarantees, labor cases are among the urgent cases. As a result, the legal periods in these cases must be subject to the periods of urgent cases, and the wisdom of that is to take into account the rights of the weak party in the dispute, which is the most important factor.  The Iraqi legislator, in most of the labor lawsuit procedures, departed from the provisions relating to summary lawsuits, and did not abide by the periods stipulated in the summary judiciary
