The effect of the (P.A K.S.A)strategy on achievement of third grade students in history

Abstract :

The current research aims to know the effect the (paksa) strategy on achievement of third-grade students ,and for the purpose of verifying ,the following hypothesis was laid. There no statististically at the level of significance  (0,05)between the average scores of the experimental group students which was studied according to the (paksa)strategy and the average scores of the control group students who studied in the usual way in the achievement test the researcher adopted the experimental design for two equivalent groups with the post test .the experiment was applied to a sample of(57) third grade students ,(31) students for the experimental group and (26).they were students of the control group, and they were rewarded in (chronological age, previous achievement in history, intelligence, academic achievement for the parents).the research tool was built ,represented by the achievement test, and its validity and reliability were verified. The experimental group was taught according to the strategy and the control group according to the usual method studied the researcher has formulated the two groups of the research after formulating the behavioral goals of the first and second sections and the five levels of bloom ,and the number of goals reached(128)behavioral goals .the researcher also prepared a final achievement test consisting of(35)items of the type (multiple choice, essays) (appendix 4) the test was presented to a group of experts(appendix). 2) that applied the experiment in the first semester of the year 2019-2020.the researcher personally studied the two research groups and the duration of the experiment lasted nine weeks ,starting from  22|10|2019m lt ended on 16|1|2020 AD and after completing the application of the experiment ,it was applied to both groups and by using the T-test two independent samples, the results showed the superiority of the students of the experimental group that studied according to the strategy and the students of the control group that studied according to the usual method in the academic achievement variable in light of the results, the researcher concluded that teaching history topics according to the PAKSA strategy contributed to increasing the achievement of the experimental group students ,and the research came out with a set of recommendations and proposals proven in the body of the research .
