Abstract :

The current research aimed to identify (identify the prevailing leadership behavior of primary school principals from the point of view of their teachers). (150) males and (150) females, They were chosen from the original community of primary school teachers in the Third Rusafa Directorate of Education, in a stratified random manner, the descriptive analytical approach was used, either the research tool was built with three patterns of leadership behavior, which consisted of (30) paragraphs distributed over three areas and five alternatives for correction were developed (always (often, sometimes, rarely, never) the weights for correction reached (5-4-3-2-1) and the researcher extracted indicators of validity and reliability of the scale The researcher used a set of statistical methods, including (one-sample t-test, two independent samples t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach’s alpha equation, chi-square). The Statistical Package for Humanities and Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to reach the required results in the research procedures, the most important of which are the following: :-

1- Primary school principals have leadership behavior from the point of view of their teachers, but they differ in terms of leadership styles.

2- There is no difference in leadership behavior due to the gender variable (male – female).

The most important recommendations that the researcher reached are:

It is desirable for school principals to familiarize themselves with the different leadership theories, especially the situational theories, because they are easier to implement and more realistic, as specialists point out.
