patial space in the novel “The Virgin of Sinjar” by Ward Badr Al-Salem

This research seeks to study the spatial space in the novel “The Virgin of Sinjar”. The first part of it deals with the concepts of space and place in language and convention, then the types of place and its importance in fictional work, and finally the critical correlation of the terms space and place.  As for the second part, I traced the closed and open spaces in the novel, and dealt with them with explanation and clarification, to find out the extent of the writer’s success in employing the place in the work of fiction, and in my study this I relied on the analytical method because it is the comprehensive approach that includes all the processes necessary for scientific research as for the conclusion, it included a set of the researcher’s findings, and the observations that have been observed in Thisregard..
