Abstract:

(Electronic cheating) E-cheating has serious effects on the student and society, as it brings out a generation of opportunists who take the effort of others, so cheating becomes their way of dealing with aspects of life. This, in turn, is reflected in the society, which may suffer from the problem of equality between the diligent and the laggard. In addition, the person who gets used to cheating as a means to achieve his ambitions will be a selfish person who is dependent on others and does not bear any responsibility.  Because of the spread of this scourge in university exams in light of the Corona crisis, this study is an attempt and a desire by the researcher to find out the reasons behind this and present some proposals to confront it. The sample consisted of (170) male and female students from the humanities and pure sciences, and a questionnaire consisting of (20) items was distributed to them. The data were analyzed using weighted means, percentage weights and T-test to extract the results. The results made it clear: The effect of  E-cheating on the future was high from the students’ point of view. And a clear impact statement for gender and in favor of males, and for specialization in the interest of human sciences.
