An educational program based on the skills of the twenty-first century and its impact on the achievement of middle-grade third-grade students and their deductive thinking in mathematics

Abstract:

 The aim of the research: To know the effect of an educational program according to the skills of the twenty-first century in the achievement of third-grade intermediate students and their deductive thinking in mathematics, to verify the objective of the research, two null hypotheses were formulated.

The research sample consisted of (64) students, randomly selected, and distributed to two groups (31) control students, (33) experimental groups, and equivalence between them was performed with a number of variables.

The researcher prepared the mathematical achievement test, the deductive reasoning test, and the psychometric properties of the research tools were verified.

After applying the research tools, the data were collected, and statistically processed, using the T-test for two unequal independent samples, and the results showed:

  1. There was a difference of statistical significance between the mean of the students of the experimental groups and the control group in the mathematical achievement test, in favor of the experimental group.
  2. There was a difference of statistical significance between the mean of the students of the two experimental groups and the control group in the deductive reasoning test in favor of the experimental group.
