Abstract:

Violence against women is considered a clear and explicit violation of human rights, as it prevents women from exercising their full rights, and this phenomenon is not limited to a specific country, but it is spread in all countries, but unevenly among them in different proportions, there are countries in which this phenomenon abounds and unlike That there are countries in which this phenomenon appears in a small percentage, and this depends on the culture of every society. Among the countries where this phenomenon appears in abundance in the Middle East countries, especially Iraq, where this phenomenon increased in it after ISIS entered it, where this organization practiced all methods of violence against women, It resulted from this phenomenon Cats are dangerous results that affect not only women, but also the society as a whole, because of the serious social and economic effects. As for the victims of this phenomenon, knowing the exact number is very difficult, because there are no accurate statistics on the victims of this phenomenon, many women are subjected to violence but do not reside By informing the competent authorities of this, for fear of either the family or the people who practice violence against them or for fear of discrediting them, all this is a reason for the lack of statistics for this group and also that the groups who practice violence against women are not limited to a specific category, as the husband may practice it on his wife Or by Father to his daughters or his sister or brother to be practiced by other people who are not family either for ways of violence against women, there are several ways of violence may be physical or sexual violence or myself.
