Abstract:

John Dewey was one of the philosophers of the first half of the twentieth century whose philosophy was characterized by comprehensiveness and depth, a humanistic spirit against fanaticism, utilitarianism, and closure, and a scientific tendency based on research, experimentation, selection, and using the results of science as a tool for development and change, serving humanity and achieving security and peace for humanity. The human race takes place in an unconscious way from birth that governs the individual’s existence in society, and it is a continuous and developing process, and it is not a preparation for future life, but rather life itself.

The study of the values ​​of education and ethics in Dewey’s philosophy was divided into two sections.

The second topic came under the title of instrumentalism and moral values, which dealt with in the first paragraph the moral values, the second the progressive education according to John Doe, the third paragraph, education in school and society, then a conclusion to the research and a list of sources.
