Abstract:

The interest in “the city” in this literary study does not take the city as its basis. Rather, the interest in it comes from being a symbol of what it contains of buildings and lofty palaces, and scientific institutions and with what they evoke in the human soul of a sense of dignity and pride, as it symbolizes strength, fortitude and steadfastness .

The researcher dealt with this issue ((presentation and analysis)), focusing on the characteristics and features of the utopian city in the eyes of the poet, and the artistic manifestations that the poet pursued in its way with the objective specificity of his poetic verses as it requires the presentation of the general human content in a framework of abstraction and hard work. Away from the narrow poetic features.

Key words: (Al-Madina, Utopia, Al-Jawahiri, Mostafa Gamal El-Din).
