Abstract:

There is no denying the fact that writing the biography of prominent figures is a very hard task, especially such important figures as Samir Geagea who played an important role in the events that took place in Lebanon. At that time Lebanon had experience many serious transformations and hardships.

This research includes the introduction several topics and the latter contains the most prominent conclusions of this study.The research is divided into several topics that dealt first with Samir Geagea’s life, upbringing, and study then the beginning of the Lebanese Forces, the beginning of his armed activity which was represented by the Ehden operation in 1978 and Geagea’s leadership of the Lebanese forces in the 1983 Mountain War and the research includes the uprising of Geagea in the Lebanese Forces 1985, as well as his position on the tripartite agreement 1985 and finally he includes the political role of Samir Geagea between 1987-1989.
